PF : Aadhar Based Face Authentication for new joinees through UMANG App<\/h2>\n

We would like to inform you of an important update regarding the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) services.\u00a0Effective 1st August 2025,<\/b>\u00a0EPFO has introduced a new facility for employees to generate and activate their Universal Account Number (UAN) using Aadhaar-based Face Authentication through the UMANG mobile application.<\/span><\/div>\n


Important Note for Employers:<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Employers will no longer be able to create a new UAN or check if an employee already has a UAN.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Employees must check from their end and provide the UAN to the employer. This UAN will then be linked to the establishment via the Employer Portal.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    We encourage all employees, especially new joiners, to make use of this enhanced feature for seamless onboarding. Feel free to reach support@payrule.in for a step by step guide for UAN generation through the new mechanism for new joinees.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
