Women Employees drawing salary upto Rs 25000 exempt from PT in MH
With reference to the above subject and the attached gazette publications, wef 01.04.2023, the woman employees whose monthly gross salary is up to Rs 25000/- is exempt from PT deduction in Maharashtra. The erstwhile exemption limit from women employees was Rs 10000/- which has been raised to Rs 25000/- wef Apr 2023.
Hence, from Wage month Apr 23, for women employees in Maharashtra, if gross salary is upto Rs 25000, PT deduction is not required and above Rs 25000, Rs 200 per month to be deducted (in Feb month it would be Rs 300)
